Error Adding Domain

My website URL is:
www.mathildewjensen.dk

What I’m seeing is:

Error Adding Domain…
This could be due to already adding the domain to this or another account or, you have not changed the nameservers as required or not enough time has passed since changing the nameservers…

Additional information:

I deleted and then reactivated an account. Before deleting I removed the domain. Now, after reactivating, I can not add the domain back.

Output from https://digwebinterface.com/?hostnames=mathildewjensen.dk&type=NS&trace=on&ns=resolver&useresolver=1.1.1.1&nameservers

I can not show this output because “Sorry, new users can’t post more than 2 links”… But output looks fine to me.

Just in case something changes, the output currently shows ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com in the bottom.

But it also shows nameservers of the other provider, so you added NS records to an existing DNS system. Please remove those nameservers and change the ones to above via your domain registrar’s nameservers management panel, don’t add NS records on an existing DNS system!

Thanks for your reply. My current registrar does not allow me to remove the existing NS records. My only option is to add the nsX.epizy.com records to the existing DNS system.

However, this setup worked before I deleted/reactivated the account. In fact, it only took a few minutes from adding the NS records, before I was allowed to add the domain to the account.

Just to clarify: are you adding DNS records of type “NS” to your existing DNS zone, Or are you changing the nameservers of your domain? These are different settings at domain name providers. To use our hosting, you need to change the nameservers of your domain, and NOT add NS records to the nameservers you already use.

I’m not familiar with the domain registrar you’ve used to register your domain, so you may need to ask your domain registrar for detailed instructions. Just make sure to ask them how to “change the nameservers” of your domain, not “how to add NS records”. These are distinctly different options with different steps and effects.

I’m not sure why this would work before. If it did, it was definitely unintentional. You must change the nameservers of your domain to only our nameservers to add the domain to your account. If the system allowed you to add the domain without changing the nameservers, this was in error. Whether that was a fluke which you are unable to repeat or a bug which has been fixed since, I don’t know. But I doubt you’ll be able to do it again.

I finally got access to changing the nameservers for this domain, but before changing them I tried adding the domain one more time - and it was added successfully. I have not changed anything on my side.
