Domain urve.com.tr is stuck - Error: "already assigned and in use.4"

Hello,

I am trying to add my custom domain urve.com.tr to my hosting account if0_41851440.

I have already completed the DNS verification (A/CNAME/TXT records) for domain ownership, but the system still gives me the following error: “urve.com.tr is already assigned and in use.4”

I am not using the nameserver (NS) method at the moment, but the domain belongs to me and is not active on any other InfinityFree account that I can see.

Could you please check if the domain is stuck in the system and manually release or assign it to my account?

Hosting Username: if0_41851440 Domain Name: urve.com.tr

Thank you for your assistance.

The message “the domain name is already in use” means that you cannot add the domain name because it’s already assigned to an account on our platform. It’s not a verification issue, and so it cannot be fixed with DNS records alone.

But I checked the domain and it doesn’t appear to be assigned to an account as far as I can tell. This could be a bug in the system.

I submitted a request upstream to have this checked. I’ll let you know when I know more.

Thank you so much for checking this and forwarding the request upstream. I really appreciate your help.

I have been struggling with this specific issue for nearly a month now, trying different methods without success. Since this is an urgent project, I would be extremely grateful if it could be resolved as quickly as possible.

I will look forward to your update. Thank you again!

If it’s urgent, I would suggest using a free sub domain for the time being to find you space to develop and rest, then once the issue is resolved add your custom domain as a parked domain on it (you can even then delete the original if you desire)

Sorry for the delay, the domain was cleared so you should be able to use it again now!

I’m sorry to see that the problem persists; I encounter this screenshot when I try to add a domain. I don’t enjoy bothering you, but I’m still looking forward to your help.

Try doing a hard refresh (crtl +f5) in your dashboard. I had this error the other day when adding a domain and having refreshed it had added.

Might not be the case for you, but worth trying
