I’ve seen someone try to add gi.na/gio.na but it costs alot of money

  1. more game/tech-related .io domains (or any in particular) for people who want to make games (like snake.io), currently the only related domains are the ones that people use for anything, e.g. short domains and gamer.gd.

We already have gamer.gd for gaming related sites. We also have tech focused names like 42web.io already. But maybe we could bring in more options.

We do regularly add new domains and I do appreciate suggestions on where our current offering might be lacking. However, we do want to stick with domains that have a fairly broad audience, since we do aim for them to be used by tens of thousands of websites.

A domain like gi.na isn’t that useful if you’re not called Gina and snake.io isn’t relevant for any other kind of game. Actually, the best other use case I can think of a domain like snake.io is for defamatory sites, like bob-is-a.snake.io, which is not the kind of site we want to host in the first place.
