I just got a free domain from freenom and pointed it to the freenom nameservers, but Infinityfree keeps saying that they are not pointing correctly. Why is this happening?? On other webhostings freenom domains work fine so it is not at their end.
Are you certain that you already point the A record to your InfinityFree’s address? If you choose “Use default nameservers (Freenom Nameservers)”, then tab “Manage Freenom DNS” should be activated (and that’s where you configure the A record)
But why don’t you just use the 2nd option instead (Use custom nameserver)? Much more simple IMO

I mean that I did point it to the byet nameservers
I just checked your domain and it’s still pointing to Freenom’s nameservers, not ours. But the WHOIS information shows the right nameservers. This seems to be a problem on Freenom’s end. Please contact them to fix this issue, or just use one of our free subdomains.

Yes this is a common error to freenom’s end, now I can’t use my 2 free domains from freenom because they have something that bugs from changing the nameservers.
I tries to re register the domain but still it will not work, the name servers are still pointing to freenom and it’s been 2 weeks now since I updated the namwservers and I checked the nameservers many time on my nameservers settings.

I don’t know why this is happening, all my Freenom Domains work still properly, and I just changed nameservers recently (5 days ago) to Byet’s ones.

I see issues with Freenom’s nameservers quite regularly. It looks like they have problems pushing the nameservers settings to the domain’s registry. It seems to go wrong quite frequently, even if it doesn’t go wrong with every nameserver change on every domain.
