Hello InfinityFree Support,
I am encountering a critical issue with my hosted domain farhanhamim.rf.gd.
Problem Details:
-
When accessing the domain, the request resolves to a GitHub Pages 404 error page (There isn’t a GitHub Pages site here.). This is highly unusual because:
The domain has never been connected to GitHub Pages.
No external CNAME or A records are configured to point outside InfinityFree’s nameservers.
I have already purged all external DNS entries, ensuring the domain resolves strictly via InfinityFree’s default nameservers. The issue still persists.
-
In the InfinityFree File Manager, the domain-specific root directory is not visible. The control panel (account homepage) still shows the domain as active and attached, but the File Manager view does not reflect the domain’s directory (screenshot attached).
Technical Observations:
The htdocs directory structure exists under my account, but the expected domain mapping directory (e.g., /home/volX_XXX/USERNAME/DOMAIN/htdocs) is missing.
DNS resolution behavior indicates that requests are somehow being routed to GitHub’s edge network, suggesting a possible misconfiguration at the vhost level.
No .htaccess rules or redirects are configured that could explain this.
Request:
Please verify and restore the correct virtual host mapping for farhanhamim.rf.gd within InfinityFree’s environment. It appears the domain is still bound to my account but not properly linked at the filesystem or webserver configuration layer.
This issue is blocking deployment of my project, so I would appreciate your urgent assistance.
Best regards,
M. Farhan Hamim
