I deleted my old rodomproductions.rf.gd domain and added rodom.productions, but all links redirect to the old domain. How can I remove the server-level redirect?”
It’s probably the software you are running, there are no server redirects unless you set them up yourself.
In Wordpress you need to change your site URL in admin settings for example. If you already deleted the old domain (generally not a good idea until you confirm the new site is working), you can do it from the database.
Thanks. However, when visiting my website, all links except the home page still redirect to the old domain. I have already:
-
Updated
WP_HOMEandWP_SITEURLinwp-config.php -
Cleared the WordPress database of old domain references
-
Checked
.htaccessfor redirects
Despite this, the redirects persist. Could you please check if there are any server-level redirects still pointing to my old domain and remove them?
Thank you for your help.
It sounds like the buttons on your WordPress Site were configured with custom URLs. Have you logged into WordPress, and edited all of your pages’ buttons to use the new URL?
Please re-read.
To clarify, InfinityFree isn’t enforcing or causing any redirects on their end. So any redirects that are happening are ones you set up. That means that they’re your responsibility to correct.
I don’t think redirects are what’s happening here, however.
When I first your site, all of the links on the homepage make your old URL show up when I hover over them.
![]()
This would seem to indicate that the URL of the hyperlinks themselves are the culprit.
