Do I face certificate (SSL issues) if I use a domain from GoDaddy?

Hey, I was wondering if I would face any problems if I buy a domain name from any domain name provider, then link to my free hosting
What kind of SSL certificate I need to create?
Or the domain generates its own certificate?
I want to know more before putting my money on this, thanks
