The selected custom domain is already in use on a MyOwnFreeHost reseller account. If this is your custom domain, please contact iFastNet to remove it from the reseller account.
please help. I do have a lot of email accounts. but I don’t remember where I signed up with an email address using the that domain. I didn’t mean to create a duplicate account.
so, please check which email address is associated with the kasihputih dot com domain.
Please read the message carefully. It says that your domain is in use on a MyOwnFreeHost reseller account, and you need to contact iFastNet to get it removed.
So that’s what you need to do: contact iFastNet about this, because only they can help you.
I don’t have access to your reseller account, I cannot see which email address you used and I cannot remove the domain for you.
IFastNet provide the infrastructure InfinityFree runs on. so InfinityFree are a customer of IFastNet.
you can register for their support service and contact them via a ticket here: support[dot]ifastnet[dot]com/
From the error message, you specifically signed up with their “My Own Free Host” service https://myownfreehost.net/
MOFH is basically white lable hosting, that allows you to make your own service similar to InfinityFree. That’s why youll see a lot of IFastNet based hosting arround. (But none of it with as good a community, or admin as here. lol)
thanks for your reply, man.
I’ll try contacting them; hopefully, I’ll get a positive response.
I’ve completely forgotten which email address I used to sign up . I have a lot of email addresses , but I only used one to create my Infinity account. I wouldn’t be so foolish as to create a duplicate account. and if I hadn’t run into a problem like this, I probably would have forgotten forever.
Let me be very clear: your domain name is NOT in use on InfinityFree. You may not have a “duplicate account” anywhere. Your domain is currently in use on another hosting service that happens to use the same infrastructure which prevents you from hosting the domain with us right now.
as I mentioned above, I do have many active email accounts. roughly three of them are registered with infinityfree.com. you can check the IP address used for my registration, but I won’t do anything foolish that violates the rules here (such as duplicate or multiple accounts).
however, the active email I use to register domain hosting is this one: saintangelussky at gmail dot com. I don’t use the email registered to the same IP address to register domains.
by the way, I’ve already contacted ifastnet, but it seems there’s no hope . I’ve completely forgotten which email I used to sign up for MyOwnFreeHost.
Whether there is no hope depends on how iFastNet responds and what verification procedures they will ask for.
I usually go for domain verification through DNS in such cases. It lets you prove you own the domain name (which means you can decide where that domain should be hosted) without having to prove you own the original account.
But my opinion is irrelevant here. Your domain is not in use on InfinityFree and so I do not have the ability to release your domain name.
