DNS Record

Hello there,
I’m having a problem, what do I do to point the DNS record of the freehosting.com domain to infinityfree.com why idon’t work for me?

I did what should do now the dns from freehosting domain is not pointed at infinityfree.

Then more:

In your screenshots you were setting the NS DNS record for subdomain of your domain name, not even for the base domain name. Also, NS records and namservers are two completely different things.

Set the namservers for the domain, or add the CNAME record.

You misunderstand. The entire problem is that you’re trying to add DNS records in the first place.

Because you don’t want to add DNS records. You want to change your domain’s nameservers. That’s a completely different setting.

I think I see the issue. The domain centralmods.com is not actually registered, and neither is centalmods.com.

You have a free hosting account with freehosting.com. However, this does NOT include a domain name registration, and creating that account only lets you host that domain if you have it. But you don’t have the domain, so you can’t host it, either with us or with freehosting.com.

If you want to create your website on the domain centralmods.com, you’ll need to register it with a domain registrar first.

We recommend Spaceship for this.

This also explains the confusion. Setting the domain’s nameservers is a function at your domain registrar. Of course freehosting.com doesn’t give that option, because they are not your domain registrar. All you’ve been doing so far is create DNS records in nameservers that are not related to the domain because the domain doesn’t even exist. So of course, we can’t detect the DNS records on our end.
