I made the change via GoDaddy, and it reflects correctly on their platform. However, even after more than 48 hours, DNS tools like dnschecker and WHOIS still show “No NS record found.”
I contacted GoDaddy support, and they confirmed the update is done from their end. They asked me to check with the nameserver provider (InfinityFree), as GoDaddy no longer has control once the nameservers are updated.
Can you please check if there’s any issue or delay on your side regarding my domain`
Thanks for your response.. and when I tried to add the custom domain in my infinityfree account, there were no options and we can select only the subdomain extension which is already there. Can you help me in this as I am new to this platform?
Please note that you cannot create a new hosting account with a custom domain, you can only add your domain to an existing hosting account.
You can either add the domain to an account you already have, or create a new account with a temporary subdomain, which you can delete after the account is created.
Hi InfinityFree Support, I recently changed the nameservers for my domain rk-travels.in to: ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com. I made the change via GoDaddy, and it reflects correctly on their platform. However, even after more than 48 hours, DNS tools like dnschecker and WHOIS still show “No NS record… What to do next?
There is no problem. You can just continue adding the domain to your account.
Please note that setting nameservers and setting NS records are not the same. If you lookup NS records for a domain, you will see the NS records returned by the configured nameservers of the domain. These should match the nameservers being used, but the NS records may be different or missing entirely with no impact to your domain name.
Your domain name is pointing to our nameservers, but no DNS records are setup for your domain in our servers. To fix that, simply continue adding the domain to your hosting account.
