I’ve got the same problem with my website: https://bimbambaap.ct.ws
It’s not working on phone or pc. I have tried using a VPN, but it does not change anyhting, I keep getting the error “DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE”
No hijacking other’s topics, please. Let alone the fact that you have a different error message than the original.
My bad, I thought the reply button on other’s topics were there for a reason.
Then still, the “DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE” suggests it might be a DNS problem, just like his. We both got the problem at the same time, and for his website it also shows “DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE” for me, which might suggest these errors are linked, and possibly server-side, and we might not be the only one having this problem.
Didn’t want to flood everything with making new topics, if it’s likely the same problem
I’m also getting this on https://stinna.ct.ws, https://bbtechzz.ct.ws, https://larsdiemer.ct.ws
the reply button on topics is to make a relevant reply.
When you’re faced with a different error, on a different domain, you’ll get a better response by making your own thread. This isn’t unique to InfinityFree, most forums prefer that you start new threads for new problems.
Browser error messages often look similar, but:
DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN - the browser successfully contacted a DNS server, but that server could not find an IP address for the requested domain
DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE - your device cannot resolve the domain name of a website into an IP address
These are quite different errors, usually with different causes.
I understand, but you’re too global on DNS_PROBE_POSSIBLE. This is not a final error, meaning it can turn into something else, it’s just “still checking”. Here’s the difference between Vivaldi browser and Brave. Like I said, the errors from the other topic could be connected, but I guess this proves it
I’ll admit I have a very high level overview. Because I didn’t want to over complicate things.
The biggest thing here is that they are different domains, wuaze.com and CT.ws are not conneted. So even if both domains are experiencing the same symptoms is still more likely than not a different issue.
In this case, wuaze.com had been out on “client hold” with the registry, which is probably causing the problem.
CT.ws hasn’t, and even if it had, that’s it’s own problem.
But debating that won’t help you.
I can see all your sites, suggesting it’s not a domain or hosting issue. Can you try a different device on a different network (such as a phone on mobile data), and see if you get the same results
You’re right, my bad
I have tried to reach my website on phone (lte and wifi), pc, and laptop, all with/without VPN. I still can’t reach it.
There is a known issue with the ct.ws and wuaze.com domains right now. I am in contact with our domain registrar to get this sorted. Please keep an eye on the official topic for more information.
