ohh dang.
The screenshot you provided was from version 1 of the site, which I had already edited and updated to version 2. The issue started when the website wasn’t forcing HTTPS, so I found some code online and added it to the .htaccess
file. After that, everything got messed up. I couldn’t even open the file manager.
I panicked, and nothing seemed to work, so I decided to reset everything and create a new account. Now I’m getting the same error as before, and nothing is working—just the same image/error as shown above.
yo?
Hello, and Welcome Back to the InfinityFree Forum! It’s been a while since we have seen you!
You are dealing with this:
Oh, now I get it. The last time I added my domain name, the website went live instantly. But this time, the domain was already linked to a previous host, and now that I’ve changed it, it’s going to take up to 72 hours to fully resolve.
So, are you sure the issue is just DNS caching and not something else?
what the hell why is it when I tag users it just remove it.
Your domain is using our nameservers and the nameservers have the correct IP address, but many DNS resolvers do not yet.
DNSChecker.org is a website that lets you check the current status over your domain name through many different DNS resolvers from all over the world. It shows that roughly half of them currently return the right IP address (185.27.134.129
), and other half do not, and return 185.27.134.99
instead. This will resolve itself automatically within a day or two.
I’m 99.9% sure that this is the only issue. If you want, you can bypass this with a hosts file edit on your computer to see the website on the right IP address. But I’m very confident that this is just DNS cache.
