I’m trying to update the DNS nameservers for my domain on OVH to use InfinityFree’s nameservers. However, I keep getting the above error message. Has anyone encountered this issue or know how to fix?
The registry for .fr domain names restricts changing nameservers for your domain- to my knowledge you can only do so if you have the domain already configured at the provider with the new nameservers first, which isn’t possible with InfinityFree.
Your best bet is to use the CNAME verification method instead. That way you can add the domain to your account without changing nameservers.
