in my website https://catatanpiutangkios.ct.ws
There is no specific error message displayed. However, after accidentally executing a DROP DATABASE command, the entire database and its contents are no longer accessible. The website is currently unable to retrieve any data, which results in broken functionality and missing content across the site.
I unintentionally executed a DROP DATABASE command on my hosting account, which resulted in the permanent deletion of my database. This occurred while managing my database through the hosting control panel.
I understand that this action may be irreversible, but I would like to ask if there is any possibility of restoring the database from server-side backups or snapshots maintained by InfinityFree.
This database contains important data required for my website to function properly, and currently, the site is experiencing critical issues due to the missing database.
Please let me know if there are any recovery options available, or if you can guide me on possible next steps.
Thank you for your support.
Deleted = Deleted. Free hosting does not have automatic backups or snapshots. Hopefully you can take this as a lesson to have a backup of your data.
Also, please do not contact forum members for assistance outside of the forum.
But do you have the ability to notify the Infinity Free server admins about this? Because I really hope that data deleted within the last 24 hours can be recovered, and that there is forensic evidence to support the recovery.
First of all, I would like to thank you very much for your response
I don’t know where did you get the “24 hours” thing from. Today you can hope “24 hours”, tomorrow you can hope “48 hours”, and so on.
Now for reference Greenreader9 cannot contact any server admins. Only Admin (literal forum username) could.
But this doesn’t change anything. Server admins don’t know magic. Even if someone got in touch with them, your data is still gone. No backups. Really.
One of the limitations of free hosting (that keeps the cost down and help keeps it free for you to use) is that there are no backups, and no way to recover data that’s been deleted.
Unfortunaitly, the only thing you can do now is start rebuilding your database
