I can’t confirm the ghost record theory, but there’s a way to try this yourself. Where was tredoszmusic.online used before? Was it on another InfinityFree account, on ProFreeHost, or somewhere else?

The error means the domain is still attached to some hosting account. A domain can only be on one account at a time, and your empty Addon Domains list only shows that it isn’t on this one. I haven’t found anything saying a failed add creates a leftover record.

There’s a self-service way to remove a domain from another account. You prove you control the domain with a DNS change, then release it. The guide for it is here:

If you try to add your domain and it’s already in use on somebody else’s account, you can remove it from that account yourself by releasing it. Start at the claim-domain page and enter tredoszmusic.online. If it can be released, the page will show whether you need to change nameservers or add a CNAME record.

Two limits from that guide matter here:

• Domains on suspended or deactivated accounts can’t be released.
• Some other hosts use the same platform as InfinityFree. Domains used with them can’t be released here, and you’d have to ask that host.

If the claim page says the domain can’t be released, paste what it says. That would show which of those cases you’re in. If it isn’t a case the guide covers, a person would need to look at it.

The problem is not “some records” getting “stuck”, it’s because the domain is in use on ProFreeHost. Because they and us use the same backend you must first remove the domain there.

If you don’t know how then Admin might be able to help you but then please wait paitiently.

If you had an account with them, please verify that the account is actually, fully, completely deleted (not just deactivated) or the domain name is actually removed from it.
