Ive really enjoyed Infinity over the last couple years but have had some strange luck. My first rf.gd website got throttled, I guess it had happened to a lot of users who had posted their websites on the forum. I never heard updates if they found the trolls who were messing with the people on here. Did they ever find out who or what was doing that?
Then I opened my second website with ct.ws and was happy for a fresh start. Now that has been shutdown as everyone using that subdomain has. Since I use my website as a design portfolio I couldnt wait weeks or months to see if it would be up and running again.
Now I just started my third website using xo.je but some people have been saying they cant open my website. I remember for awhile you had to once a year log in to renew the ssl certificate (is that the name of it sorry?) Then it became automatic for the certificate to renew awhile later.
So I wanted to know if possibly the reason some people cant access my website is because I need to do something about the certificate? I was thinking maybe its because I needed to wait longer than the 72 hours till the website becomes active but it worked when I tried it on my computer and cell phone.
Sorry for the long post, so much to ask about.
Thanks in advance for any help!

Other Information
(other information and details relevant to your question)
Regarding the trolls and throttling: we had some trouble with websites being flooded with a lot of traffic to trigger suspensions. That problem has been solved now, we made a number of improvements to attack detection and hit calculation to block the attackers and not count the traffic against your usage.
Regarding the SSL certificate: for custom domains, you need to log in every 2-3 three months to renew your SSL certificate and install it. Free subdomains are now covered by system wide SSL certificates, which do not require any additional steps to use or keep working.
Regarding the new domain not working: I checked your site and it seems to be working fine. I did notice that it is still pretty new so it might be DNS caching. It could also be that the xo.je domain might be blocked for the people that checked it (by a virus scanner, firewall or security filter of some kind). But it would help to know a bit more about what exactly they see when they try to visit your website to know for sure.
I just replied to you on the email with this same message, so sorry if this is a repeat. It said no reply email so Im not sure if youll get it so Ill post it here too. Thanks!
Great! Thanks so much for the updates on all of that, I appreciate it.
I will ask them next week after the holiday to see if they can revisit my website and see if they still are having problems seeing the website.
I know signing up with Infinity free you are given three websites you can use. Each website Ive designed has been the same site (design portfolio) one at a time and only moved to a new site when the other was shut down. Since these two situations were out of my control and nothing I did, would I ever be able to get three websites allotments again? Im just paranoid that since my first two have been shut down, Im just trying to plan in case anything happens to this last one I have.
This is like one of the biggest misunderstandings on InfinityFree and honestly I don’t know what makes people think in this way, but no, you get three hosting accounts not three websites. You can host an unlimited amount of websites in a single hosting account as long as you stayed within other limits.
Thank you for the clarification. I guess the reason I thought this was the case was because when you go into accounts it says you have used 2/3 accounts. Thats why I was concerned if something happens to this third one.
Maybe since I joined a while back maybe my account information is older thats why I wanted to ask about that.
Also, only accounts you currently have count towards the limit. If you deactivate any you don’t use, and they eventually get deleted, the number of hosting account slots you’re using will go back down.
Thats great, so it can renew if your not using one and delete it, thanks for explaining this. Everyone is chiming in and filling me in on all of this. I just needed one website for my design portfolio, so when they kept going down I was concerned. This makes me feel better, I appreciate everyones help! Thanks again!
