Created files at FTP root dir are always deleted after upload

Hello,

I’ve tried to edit my “.htaccess” file to get more professionality on my page.
Everytime I edited the file, the file gets overwritten by a template.

I was able to delete the HTACCESS file without problems.

Now I tried to create a new one via FTP and it’s getting deleted after several seconds after I uploaded the file.
I tried to create random files via FTP, without luck.
All files I which I created were deleted.

You can’t create stuff in the FTP root directory. You can create your own .htaccess in the htdocs folder though.
