It looks like normal cpanel. It happens when I try to install anything from the install software thingy

Whenever I install megento I get disconnected then it breaks and suddenly I can’t use wordpress because I have to install plugins through softaculous

Oh and now I have to delete that account and create a new one
This is the third time I did this

Just try leaving it for a bit. Especially on new accounts, it takes some time for softaculous to activate.

Of course, you can always try installing the software manually from the developer.

I see you deactivated your old account again and created a new one a few hours ago. Does Softaculous work on this new account or are you still having this issue?

It does but when I try to install magento it just breaks and gives me the 500 server error

Also the cpanel thing still happens

It installs now (according to the thing) then just goes to the ifastnet 404 page and the panel goes into error 500 again

Magento is a massive suite of ecommerce business automation that is too big to even run well on most premium hosting. It’s way too big to run on free hosting, and massively overkill if you just want an online store.

What should I use then

I honestly don’t know what’s a good (and somewhat lightweight) option for setting up a basic shopping site.

WooCommerce is very popular, but also quite a heavy plugin for WordPress. It can work, as long as you resist the urge to bolt on a heavy site builder plugin (like Elementor) as well.

PrestaShop also won’t work here because it has more files than our inode limit allows. OpenCart can be made to work, but is picky with data storage which also doesn’t play well with our hosting.

AbanteCart, LiteCart, ThirtyBees and Zencart are a few other options for ecommerce available in Softaculous, which seem like they could provide the required functionality. But I haven’t heard about anyone here using them. Which could mean it’s good and it just works, or nobody uses them.
