How do I know my cpanel domain and user and password and port because I want to login with an mobile app (if it is allowed)
Port is 21 (i think)
Cpanel url is cpanel.epizy.com (did you mean that?)
You can find user and password in Client area
If you mean monile browser, You can login without any problems. Otherwise it won’t die the security system.
Maybe try using port 2083 and HTTPS as connection method on the cPanel app (if supported), or login via a browser.
Imma keep using browser
Which app are you trying to connect with?
I think i got it now.
use ftpupload.net as hostname,
site username as username,
site password as password
and port is 21 (or use 2083)
Edit: Looking at previews. that shouldn’t be accessible.
for the security system TBH.
Then I think VistaPanel (which is the cPanel used on this hosting and other MOFH resellers) isn’t supported on that unofficial cPanel app. Also, @anon19508339, it isn’t the security system that causes this problem.
I guess.
However something like non-browser file managers are still available like Filezilla.
Ads?
Yeah they are probably not allowing it bc ads on the cpanel (advertise)
It’s not that, I also checked using that app and trying to connect using these settings (which on the real cPanel should work):
Hostname: cpanel.byethost.com
Port: 2083
Username: my hosting account username
Password: my hosting account password
But that app doesn’t detect it is the real cPanel (or maybe am I missing something?). I also tried the settings above, but changing the port to 2082, and it doesn’t work, rejecting with an error “Connection failure”! So, you can’t do anything to access VistaPanel on an app that only supports the real cPanel, and you should only access it through a browser.
Why can’t you just login in to InfinityFree and then press the GREEN BUTTON WHICH SAYS CONTROL PANEL!!
Look there are browser apps, so make it easier for you by getting chrome, firefox, opera, or whatever browser. (Please make sure it is a modern browser).
Also apps that haven’t been tested will not always work.
You can access to panel on your mobile browser. It works, although the experience may be limited or not as pleasing as on PC.
You can also do it with other pages and other browsers on other devices by following this guide, BTW.
Because a short cut uses your mobile browser to go to the page or site the shortcut is made for.
Given the steps above for shortcuts, you will need to get a browser (free, obviously). If you want to change the default browser, then you will have to go to settings and clear the defaults for the browser that came with your device (This is for Andriod).
Apple defaults can’t be changed, but when you get a prompt of what browser you want, just select the browser you want.
