This is for knowing the limitations only, so i’m intentionally not mentioning website url, and i don’t wanted too. I was trying to connect mysql database connection from a different mysql hosted server. I’m getting few errors on connection errors 2002. DO we have any outbound rules or blocks, I just know our PDO extensions, mysql/marinaDB and sqlite i’m using mysql i tried but i couldn’t able to connect, do we only can able to connect databases that created in infinityfree servers only.

I seem to remember that external database connections have now been blocked :frowning: it used to work but not any more SSorry

Few years back it was working fine, After years we have lots of strict rules :sweat_smile:.

Yeh I think it was IFastNet (back end infrastructure provider) who changed the rules.

Usually when things like this get changed it’s because someone abused it and ruined it for everyone. But I can’t say for certain
