I started a website with the free name and finally purchased the domain name from Spaceship - I parked my new name cause I could not figure how to change the free name. How do I change the free name to the purchased name and not park it?

If your website doesn’t use MySQL databases, moving your site is very easy. Simply upload all your files to the ‘htdocs’ folder on your hosting account with FTP or a file manager. If you have a PHP based website, check if it has any configuration files where a domain name or file path needs to be set. Update these values as required. If your website is using MySQL databases, you need to move the database contents as well and update the configuration of your website to use the database:

You also need to change the new domain to an addon domain
In the control panel, you’ll find the sections called Addon Domains, Parked Domains and Subdomains. What do all those different domain types mean?
What is a subdomain?

The first step is to add the new domain name to your hosting account:
While a free subdomain is a great way to get started, a website looks a lot more professional with a custom domain name. Fortunately, you can register your own domain name with an external company (like Spaceship ) and use it on InfinityFree.
There are multiple ways you can add the domain name as an account. You can create it as a new account or add it to an existing account.

After that, you may need to move your website from your free subdomain to your new domain name:
Every website is linked to a certain htdocs directory on your account. But sometimes you need to move a website from one htdocs directory to another. This may be necessary if:
You are moving to a different domain name (e.g. a free subdomain to a custom domain).
You have recreated your domain name and it was assigned to a different directory.
Fortunately, there is no need to rebuild your website from scratch. It’s not difficult to move your website from one directory to another.

Finally, you may have to update some website configuration to work with the new path. How (or even if) that needs to be done depends on the website.

I’m not quite sure what you mean by that.
Are you saying your paid domain is already assigned to your hosting account? If so, then you already completed the first step I described (adding the domain) and you can continue with the steps that follow (moving the website files, if needed).
