Why are my files deleted after uploading them

Sometimes, when you upload a file, the upload is completed but the file is deleted immediately afterwards. Can you please just give us the logs? Just because you can’t find the reason for the upload not working in them doesn’t mean that we can’t either.

The logs tell us a lot about how you’re interacting with the FTP server. From that information, we can see if you’re doing thing that the hosting platform doesn’t like.

To enable debug logging in FileZilla, you’ll need to do the following:

1. Go to Edit → Settings…
2. Scroll down to the Debug page.
3. Ensure that “Show debug menu” is enabled (it is by default).
4. Update the “Debug information in message log” and set it to “2 - Info”.
5. Click Save to update the settings.

Retry the action and gather the logs

With debug logging enabled, you should try to retry your FTP action.

You’ll see that the box at the top of the screen will fill with lots of text. This is the debug output of FileZilla.
