Can't upload files in root folder

I am created a site using API’s, the API site provide a verification file to verify the site, in order to earn partner & earn from them.

But I can’t upload my files in root folder, from htaccess, it can verify the file.

Any solution to solve that?

The file is not in a htdocs folder

All websites files must be uploaded to either the main htdocs folder, or to the domain specific htdocs folder (like example.com/htdocs ). If a file is created or uploaded anywhere else, it will be deleted automatically.
