Can't make heads or tails of the CPU graph?

Ok, I understand what the red, green, blue lines are for. And that the numbers at the bottom of the graph are days of the month. But… they don’t seem to correspond to anything.

For example, they show a spike on the 31st. Is the system so smart, that it knows I’m going to spike the CPU in two weeks?? Okay. Maybe this means a spike occurred on the 31st of last month, and that is how the graph shows that.

But if so… what are the spikes prior to today, indicating? They show a spike on the 1st, and another on the 7th. That makes sense, as my site was suspended on those days, this month. But, I opened my account on the 26th of January. So, I was not here on either Jan. 12, or Feb. 12. And yet… the graph says I was??

Or does it?

Can someone please explain this thing? I have searched on and read older posts on the subject, and they did not explain this part of it.

This is a little bit convoluted, so buckle in.

the numbers at the bottom relate to the day of the month, but the graph cycles. So as of today (11/2/25) 12-31 relate to January, and 1-11 relate to feb.

The reason why the line goes up from 25th to 26th is because the value on 25th of janurary was 0 (your account wasn’t active) but was higher on 26th

The same is happening at the other end. Todays usage has a value hence 11 isn’t at 0. But then because you havent used it yet tomorrow (obviously) its dropping to 0.

I hope that makes sense.

Thanks for the explanation. I’m going to have to remember that, for the future. It’s just a bit weird that the graph shows activity starting on Jan. 25, when my account says I opened it on Jan. 26. Not to mention a bit of activity on the 12th, when I was not here on Jan. 12, and we’re not the 12th yet, in February. But, that’s not a big deal. So long as I can make sense of it, overall, and gauge my CPU activity, to avoid suspensions.

Timezones and daylight savings time.

Again, timezones. And bots.
