You are maybe using the wrong database host (sometimes set to localhost or 127.0.0.1). The correct database host can be found on the “MySQL Databases” section of your Control Panel.
yes. I visited at MySQL Databases and entered every info correctly that was mentioned at that page like
MySQL DB Name,
MySQL User Name,
MySQL Password,
MySQL Host Name, etc.
But then also i aways get that error line.
I visited client area copied ftp password and pasted in database password but still getting this
Warning : mysqli::__construct(): (HY000/2002): Connection refused in /home/vol14_6/epizy.com/epiz_24302185/htdocs/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 7Warning : DB\MySQLi::__construct(): Couldn’t fetch mysqli in /home/vol14_6/epizy.com/epiz_24302185/htdocs/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 10Warning : DB\MySQLi::__construct(): Couldn’t fetch mysqli in /home/vol14_6/epizy.com/epiz_24302185/htdocs/system/library/db/mysqli.php on line 10Notice : Undefined variable: mysql in /home/vol14_6/epizy.com/epiz_24302185/htdocs/install/controller/install/step_3.php on line 280Notice : Trying to get property ‘connect_error’ of non-object in /home/vol14_6/epizy.com/epiz_24302185/htdocs/install/controller/install/step_3.php on line 280
Now I get it. That it’s not possible to install OpenCart on InfinityFree.
Because OpenCart requires external directory permission that is not allowed on free hosting.
I learned that by reading all 23 search results that was available for OpenCart on this forum.
I first tried Woocommerce and then my account was suspended because i was exceeding my CPU limit. Therefore I thought OpenCart will be more lightweight.
And now i realized it doesn’t work.
Anyone have any ideas for any better alternatives?
