Error during FTP delete file, permission denied at: “/htdocs/gg/”.
i cant delete the gg folder in my site htdocs. it says “permission denied”. i tried via Filezilla and Filemanager.ai but no luck, can someone with authorization delete the htdocs/gg folder completely?
if you have altered the permissions and denied yourself access then it is not possible to delete it
if this isnt the case then there must be a temporary issue with your hosting
It seems that you edited the permissions of the default folder and removed your own write permissions from that directory. So now nobody can write to that directory, including you.
Unfortunately, there is no way to delete such files anyway or fix the permissions. So either you’ll have to accept that these files exist now, or migrate your site to a fresh account.
