im using a site for database mysql, and on localhost its worked fine but on infinityfree it doesnt work for some reason, i tried this some time ago and it worked no problem, now i cant even connect to the ftp it says access denied/connection failed tried on filezilla and winscp
So it is working as expected. Free hosting doesn’t support remote MySQL.

If you can’t fix it from the link Frank shared, then if you turn on full logging on filezilla (as below) and share the log, it might give us enough information to help.
From my own experience, if you’re using the correct user name and password, then it’s probably ftpupload.net being blocked by your ISP. Use the IP address (185.27.134.11) instead.

Glad you’ve got connected. I’ve had that happen a few times. Doesn’t help that when you copy your password from the client area, sometimes it coppies with an extra space lol
