This is the error it shows me when I try to add my domain to InfinityFree, even tho I never added this website here, as I just got it.
Assuming I got your domain right, your domain is still on FreeNom’s nameservers, so their is no way It can possibly already be on the system (I wouldn’t know though), but check to see if you already created an account for it, so try changing your nameservers to Infinityfree’s and try again. Otherwise you might have already created an account.
Or
Because it is a free domain, someone may have originally had it for a year, then not renewed, but left it on InfinityFree, or a MOHF powered host.
So try adding it again, and chaning your nameservers, if not I have no other explanations.
But just now I thinked, is it possible that the person who owns previously hosted the verge domain but then since 1 year passed, he created another domain called theverge to avoid paying more for the domain?
Yes, someone must have went through FreeNom or InfinityFree, to redirect the domain name verge.ga to theverge.com, the technology website, as it must be a special reserved domain and you slipped through the system with it, as it seems to be redirected at a registar level (Higher than what you would be able to overide).
