If the problem is in the database connection, yesterday there was some maintenance on the database servers; here’s how I solved my issue in particular in case some hosting accounts are still having the database problem:
That’s the same problem I had as well before I fixed it; on my post I linked before - and that’s the second link - I linked to the part of the “Unable to access phpMyAdmin” article that explains that you have to change the hosting account password through the Client Area; if you want full instructions here they go:
If that still doesn’t work you would have to wait until the database servers are fully operational on all hosting accounts. After this you’ll also have to change the password on your database configuration file as well before your website starts working again.
