Currently, why can’t I create a new SSL certificate on a free service, and the following message appears?
“Custom SSL certificates are no longer supported for free subdomains. All free subdomains have SSL by default.”

Welcome to the forum.
Can you please explain the problem? the “error” message tell you all you need to know. SSL for free accounts is now done by default, so you can’t create certificates manually. This thread will give you more information:
Thanks for the information, so the default SSL will be active when the previous SSL period has expired or how?
No, the default SSL is already active. The previous certificate has been replaced by it, so your site should have a valid SSL working.
My previous SSL condition is still active, and it expires today. Has the previous SSL Certificate been replaced by Default SSL?
In advance, thank you for the information
Kind of.
The default SSL is already active. So when you’re current one expires, the default one will take over as your one and only SSL on the site
Thanks for the information, everyone
