Cannot open edit website

the page just sits there and runs round and round but won’t open my editor.

If you want help you are going to have to provide more info. What is your URL?

Also, please choose the correct category next time. I switched it for you, but informal is not for support requests.

My url http://mk45.000.pe/ when I start the website editor edit page, then it starts to open, but just stays and the circle runs and runs and doesn’t go any further. It says it is looking for template parts and won’t go any further. I can go to a single page and edit with non-website editing. I disabled all plugins and reinstalled Wordpress in my own language.Kind regards, Carsten from Denmark

Maybe contact Wordpress support about this? Infinityfree don’t provide support for any plugins.

There are all sorts of reasons why WordPress couldn’t load. Plugins and themes that don’t work properly are the most common reason, but definitely not the only one.

Could you perhaps try to open the Console tab in your browser’s Developer Tools and then try opening the editor? A loading spinner that doesn’t load could indicate a problem with the browser script, and the Console tab should help narrow down the issue.

Also this might be because he exited from the tab before the installation completed, or didn’t finish it

We don’t know if it is a plugin. The OP also said he disabled them all, and reinstalled from scratch.

Nope. Install is done server-side. Existing the wizard would not cause an error.

Then he would have been brought to where he left off, or an error would have shown.
