Cannot create custom domain

Cannot register a custom domain under a free plan anymore. There isnt an option to do that.

Look in the control panel under “Addon domains” or “parked domains”.

Adding to what @Greenreader9 said, after you created your hosting account with a subdomain (which is now the default unchangeable choice for new accounts), you can also add the custom domain directly by clicking on “Add Domain” directly from your hosting account dashboard in the Client Area and choosing to add a custom domain, but you might need to log in to the Control Panel first if that’s not done automatically to enable FTP access for your account.

So now i will have my custom domain share the same hits limits as my free subdomain?

You will, as well as other limits, but you can still decide to remove the subdomain from your hosting account if you don’t need it, and you can do that on either the Control Panel under the “Addon Domains” section or under the hosting account dashboard in the Client Area by following this:

Login to the Client Area, click on the hosting account, click on “Manage” next to the subdomain you want to delete, scroll down to “Delete Domain” and click it.
