i am trying to change write permissions to a folder with filezila and I get error 550
I need this folder writable for site work

No, changing permission sets on directories and files is not supported on free accounts.
The permissions are automatically set to 755, so no need to change them.

I think you can on premium, but that’s offered by iFastNet not InfinityFree, so don’t take my word for it.
Ironically, the way the housing is set up here, 775 and 755 are functionally the same… But I know a lot of scripts still want 775…
