[Note] :I was doing some housekeeping, i.e. removing domain from one account and adding it to newly made account
What I’m seeing is:
Your domain is not yet pointing to ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com. Change your nameservers at your domain registrar and wait a few hours. You can also create an account with a subdomain first.
I’m using :
Cloudflare DNS management dashboard and Cloudflare Registrar
Additional information:
I’ve been using InfinityFree hosting with Cloudflare for about two years.
I used to register domains at various discounted sites like BigRock or NameCheap. Then to add hosting, I used to switch NS record at respective register’s site and then verify it on InfinityFree. Once InfinityFree hosting is added, I used to switch the InfinityFree NS record at registrar’s page with the set provided by Cloudflare to enable SSL.
Now, I’ve transferred by domains to Cloudflare Registrar and apparently it do not provide provision to change NS record. I tried adding NS record to Cloudflare DNS dashboard (alongside other records such as MX, CNAME etc.) but looks like it does nothing.
If your registrar does not let you change your domain’s nameservers to our servers, you cannot add the domain to InfinityFree. We’d like to add an alternative domain verification method, but we don’t have that yet, so you have to be able to change your nameservers.
If Cloudflare doesn’t let you change the nameservers, then you can’t host the domains registered with Cloudflare with our hosting.
Note that changing NS records in Cloudflare’s nameservers won’t work. The nameserver changes should be pushed up to the registry, not put in the registrar’s nameservers, and that’s generally done through a different interface than the DNS record editor.
While not as cheap as Cloudflare, NameSilo has really good pricing as well, being only slightly more expensive than Cloudflare.
As I mentioned, I practically removed the site by accident.
I just transferred to Cloudflare Registrar so the earliest I can move it to NameSilo is 2 months.
Please let me if it is possible to verify it some other way, given I still have the IP address for epiz_24207195 and epiz_24829094. @Admin, will you be able to restore it somehow
