Can we use any temp mail for registration? I want to use OwlyMail for infinityfree singup. Is there any problem if we use it?
Using temporary email addresses for registrations are not allowed.
We do our best to detect and block any disposable email provider and domain we find, and do on occasion take down all websites created with temporary email addresses if we find that this domain or provider has a high rate of abuse.
We’re not asking you to sign up for a newsletter so you can access a download. We’re offering a hosting service for your website. That’s not a once-off transaction which is discarded after 10 minutes, but (hopefully) a long and happy relationship.
In order to keep you informed regarding important changes to any active hosting services, we need to have a way to contact you. If there is anything you need to know about the service, which can cause problems for you if you don’t take action, we can’t help you if we can’t reach you.
Additionally, some email providers (including OwlyMail, as far as I can tell) offer public mailboxes. That means that anyone who knows your email address can see and receive emails on that address. Since we do a lot of identity verification based on email addresses, if someone would know your email address, they could request a password reset, take over your account, steal your data and deface your website. I don’t think anyone wants that.
Finally, please keep in mind that you are only allowed to have three free hosting accounts per PERSON. Signing up with multiple email addresses to bypass the three account limit is not allowed, and can result in all of your account being terminated if we find out. If you need many accounts, a reseller hosting account is a great choice. iFastNet also provides quite affordable reseller accounts.
