Can Starter Premium hosting run my Laravel 13 application?

Hello,

I’m considering Starter Premium hosting at $2.50/month, billed yearly, for a Laravel 13
property-management application.

Could you please confirm:

  1. Is PHP 8.4.1 or newer available for both website requests and command-line cron jobs?

  2. Are BCMath, PDO MySQL, EXIF, and GD with WebP support available?

  3. What is the minimum cron interval? Can I run “php artisan schedule:run” every minute
    and process short email queue batches through cron?

  4. Are private property documents and payment receipts allowed outside the public website
    directory?

  5. Do server backups include both uploaded files and databases? How often are backups
    taken, how long are they retained, and how can I restore them?

  6. Does Starter currently include 5 GB or 10 GB of storage? Do databases and email count
    toward that allowance?

  3. 1 minute should be allowed, but I don’t own a premium hosting account and I can’t really tell.
  4. Yes.
  5. There do exist a built-in backup feature in cPanel, but this feature is very limited so don’t get your hopes up anytime soon. It appears that premium hosting is not offering JetBackup any more.
  6. iFastNet advertises 10 GB but again please ask them not us to be sure.

It’s 10 GB I think. Our panel still says 5 GB, but it seems that iFastNet increased it without announcing it.

Emails definitely do count against storage usage as they are stored alongside your website files. I’m not sure about database usage.
