I have made an Android app of my website, but, I can’t publish it to Google Play Store because my parents won’t let me get the developer account by paying the developer fee. So, I am putting a link on my website for the users to be able to download the APK of the app and I’d like to know if I can host it on InfinityFree without my account being suspended. As they state in the T&C, we cannot host any zip, etc. (and APK is a kind of a zip) that are not allowed to be downloaded (something like this I had read, don’t remember very clearly). Also, hotlinking isn’t allowed, but, I’ll be hotlinking this APK file to send the link to my friends, etc. The APK is barely around 3MB. I just want a permanent link - tapping on which could start the download in one go and not the cloud accounts like Google Drive and all where even to download a 3MB file users will have to follow a series of links. So, would me hosting the APK lead to account suspension or is it safe?

I am not entirely sure whether you get suspended because of this…
But I think it’s best to use Google Drive and embed the direct download link to your site.
I’d have gladly done that, but Google Drive doesn’t give us direct download links (not any cloud storage I know of for that matter).

There is actually a direct download link FYI.
Visit your apk file link on G Drive and press the download button and that download button has a link and that link is the direct download link and that’s the one you need to embed on your site.
That was something I tried in my 8th grade. Sadly, it’s just a temporary link and expires after a few hours or days.

Hmmm… Are you sure?
I’ve used that on my files for I think 2 weeks now and it hasn’t expired yet…
Do you have a specific way of doing it? All the forums of Google and otherwise state that as not possible or at least the old methods are now non-usable.
@VPHrishikesh ,
There’s some free file hosting site you may try :
None gives a direct link. I have tried almost 20 more.
@VPHrishikesh , try 7 Free File Hosting Sites With Direct Download Link Upload
Offering a few, small files for download on a website is no problem. Just keep in mind that InfinityFree is a website hosting service, not a file sharing service.
Because of that, direct downloading from your InfinityFree account is not going to work, because URLs here only work when opened through a browser.
Thanks for the clarification.
@VPHrishikesh
Have you tried it yourself and waited and examine wether the link is expired?
Mine is still working and I don’t know why ?
Yes, I had tried it for a few videos once. The links expired in a day or two.

Well I can’t think of any other solution…
You can send your apk file to me and I will host it on my website.
Also how many users do you think will download your app?
Edit:
You can also use the site which @PlanetGamingGG shared to you.
No estimate. I was just wondering.

So you want me to host your apk with my site?
I’ll host it on mine as of now. Thanks.

OK, good choice if it is not on InfinityFree.
