To reliably authorize a specific email provider to send emails on behalf of your domain, you should configure both SPF and DKIM records for your domain name.
While SPF records can be configured through the SPF Records section, configuring DKIM records requires a different approach.
No support for TXT DKIM records
InfinityFree’s free hosting nameservers do not support setting DKIM records directly. Additionally, free hosting does not support custom TXT DNS records, making it impossible to set up DKIM records as TXT records on free hosting.
However, if you have your own domain name, you can work around this limitation by migrating your domain’s DNS hosting to another DNS provider. You can use the DNS hosting service provided by your domain registrar or opt for a specialized DNS hosting provider like Cloudflare.
You can setup CNAME DKIM records
Although DKIM records are typically TXT records, some email providers offer the option to configure them as CNAME records instead. This allows the email provider to manage and update their DKIM records without requiring you to make DNS changes.
Fortunately, InfinityFree’s free hosting supports custom CNAME records. If your email provider instructs you to set up DKIM records as CNAME records, you can add these CNAME records to your hosting account without any issues.
By following these steps, you can ensure your email provider is authorized to send emails on behalf of your domain, enhancing the security and reliability of your email communications.
