I purchased a new domain, I wanted to change one of my current custom domain to the new one, so I don’t need to move all the files and database. Is this possible?

It’s not possible to actually edit a domain name, but you can sort-of do what you want in another way.
First, add your new domain to your hosting account. Make sure to add it as an Alias Domain or Parked Domain, and link it to your old domain name. At that point, both your new and your old domains will have the same website.
Then you can remove the old domain name from your account, so only the new domain will have the website.
That said, moving a website to a different directory on the same account is usually pretty fast and simple. See this guide for more info:
