Bugs, Bugs and Bugs ...

The new interface is pretty nice style design material, but it has many flaws, please fix it I can not manage my domain, because I get the error 404 page not found when I want to manage my site.

If there are bugs, we need to fix them. Can you please list the issues with clear explanations as to what goes wrong and how to reproduce them? “I get the error 404 page not found” doesn’t really give me enough information to figure out what’s going wrong.

When I try to **delete ** an account (Domain) I get error 404 when I press the delete account button.

Files that are uploaded to FTP do not appear or are not uploaded and then 500 error appears when trying to login to my website.

The Dayli Hits are surpassed as it should be, because on my site I only enter, and it appears that as if they had entered 5000 people, I do not know if it is a bug but it is very rare that.

CloudFlare does not work in subdomains, it only works in the main domain, but in subdomains it still appears as the “http” protocol and not “https” as it appears in the main domain, and when trying to enter the subdomain protocol “http” An ad says that the website may not be secure, as if it were a fake “https”

The file manager within the control panel of the account (Domain) does not work, when trying to upload any file, it shows an error and does not upload anything.

When you try to register a domain in the Account Control Panel, it displays an ad that says the domain should be pointing to ns1.byet.org, ns2.byet.org, ns3.byet.org, ns4.byet. Org and ns5.byet.org, and if I point the domain to those NameServers but it still comes out, and for me to detect it correctly I have to update and test more than 5 times, until after it detects it well.

When it comes to changing the language of the Control Panel, it is still in English even after you have set it and saved it to appear in another language.

And finally the site builder sometimes does not work, and at the end of the project does not save anything, but it is in the minority of cases.

These are the problems (bugs) I have been able to find in my experience using InfinityFree.

I hope I can understand and can repair all these faults, because they are somewhat annoying.

Thank you,
Atte: Mayron Ramos

First of all, thank you for the long explanation. We always want to hear about issues, especially if they are accompanied by proper issue descriptions.

That’s a bug. Fortunately, it’s easy to fix so a hotfix has been deployed already.

Files that are uploaded to FTP do not appear or are not uploaded

Please make sure the files are uploaded to an htdocs folder and are not larger than 10 MB.

and then 500 error appears when trying to login to my website.

A 500 error is typically caused by an error in your code. See this article for more information on how to fix issues like that: https://infinityfree.net/support/http-error-500

The Dayli Hits are surpassed as it should be, because on my site I only enter, and it appears that as if they had entered 5000 people, I do not know if it is a bug but it is very rare that.

Note that it’s daily hits and not daily visitors. You can easily generate 50,000 hits on your own in a single session, if you want to.

The current Cloudflare integration has many flaws and we’re aware of that. Some (in my opinion) bad design decisions were made. These issues will be addressed eventually, but they do not have priority.

The file manager within the control panel of the account (Domain) does not work, when trying to upload any file, it shows an error and does not upload anything.

Again, please make sure the files are uploaded to an htdocs folder and are not larger than 10 MB.

If that doesn’t work, what does “an error” say?

When you try to register a domain in the Account Control Panel, it displays an ad that says the domain should be pointing to ns1.byet.org, ns2.byet.org, ns3.byet.org, ns4.byet. DNS changes typically take a few hours to become effective, most registries don’t publish new nameservers immediately. That’s just how DNS works, we can’t change that.

When it comes to changing the language of the Control Panel, it is still in English even after you have set it and saved it to appear in another language.

Which language did you choose specifically? Not all languages listed have been fully translated.

And finally the site builder sometimes does not work, and at the end of the project does not save anything, but it is in the minority of cases.

What do you mean exactly by “saving” in this case? Are you referring to saving the draft or publishing the website? Do you see anything odd in the builder (like error messages)?

The error of the files, is not because of its size, because they are small files in HTMl that only weigh 100 KB to 200 KB …

And error 500 appears when trying to upload files and these do not appear in the list of files when entering with an FTP Manager, and when trying to enter the website, appears error 500

The file manager in the account control panel, it is not the file size error, but that, when uploading files as images, zip (5MB) these when trying to upload appears an error that says the files do not They were able to process

The DNS change 48 hours before but still, that error still appears, it is sometimes but it is a bit tedious

I have selected the Spanish language, in the account control panel, as my native language is Spanish, but the account control panel still appears in English, I do not know if the other languages ??will have that fault, but the Spanish language if it has that problem

Sorry for my bad english, is that I am Spanish, I’m sorry, but I mean, when I published the site after I finished working with the site creator, and there appears an error that says that a processing error has occurred.

And where did you try to upload the files? You must upload the files to an htdocs directory. Files outside that directory will be deleted automatically.

The DNS change 48 hours before but still, that error still appears, it is sometimes but it is a bit tedious

I’m sorry, but I’m a bit confused now. You already have added the domains to your account? If so, at what point do you see a message saying your nameservers should be pointing to the byet.org nameservers?

I have selected the Spanish language, in the account control panel, as my native language is Spanish, but the account control panel still appears in English, I do not know if the other languages ??will have that fault, but the Spanish language if it has that problem

I’ve checked the control panel, and it does look like it has Spanish translations (at least on the main page). The client area will still be in English because it does not have support for other languages at this moment. The Preferred Language setting is only for the control panel and the site builder.

We do plan to add more languages in the future, but it’s low on the desired features list for us.

Sorry for my bad english, is that I am Spanish, I’m sorry, but I mean, when I published the site after I finished working with the site creator, and there appears an error that says that a processing error has occurred.

On which account does this issue occur? I’d like to check it for myself.
