Broken link

My website URL is: http://www.interactivestories.epizy.com/index.html

What I’m seeing is: I am creating my site and I have gotten to a place where, for some reason, one link doesn’t work. The file with the broken link is called “continue1.html” and it links to 3 other files. The other 2 links work perfectly, but for some reason the last one does not. I have been looking at it for the last 30 minutes nothing seems to work.

I’m using this software: coffee cup html editor

Additional information:

Can you please check the full URL of the broken link? Can you access the page if you visit the URL directly?

If that doesn’t work, it’s possible the file wasn’t uploaded successfully. You can check that by checking the file through the file manager.

If it does work, then the URL on the page is likely incorrect.

The link that doesn’t work is http://www.interactivestories.epizy.com/stories/princess/forest.html and if I try to open it like that, I get an error 404.

I have uploaded the file several times and no luck.

My guess is that I made a typo somewhere in the link, but I just can’t find it. I even tried to create the file again but no luck.

The links on that page go to http://www.interactivestories.epizy.com/stories/princess/forest_left (and right). Which does indeed return a 404 error.

But that URL looks off. Shouldn’t it have the .html extension at least, like all the other URLs on your site? But no files with such names exist either.

If you go to continue1.html and click on the last option “forest”, it will give you the error 404.

I haven’t uploaded anything after that.

It wouldn’t let me post the complete link here for some reason, but everything that comes before, you can see in the other messages.

Okay, the problem seems to be related to my Firefox browser. If I try another browser on the same computer there is no problem. Closing and opening Firefox on the same computer doesn’t solve the problem for some reason, but it works with Firefox on my laptop, so it is probably some bad code it remembers for an unknown reason.
Anyway, I guess I don’t have a problem after all.
Thanks
