No idea where you found that. But, trying to find settings, now the Brave shield is down on every new tab. This is not making me want to try this host. Just more problems.
I don’t have a clue what happened and now I’m troubleshooting/searching a new problem.
Fair enough. I followed those instructions and I believe I understand it (enough). But, I have what is probably a dumb question: so, the ‘dash’ in front of the url - that’s because it’s the ‘dashboard’ settings for the host account or?
Anyway, it’s working now - I added the two links - the one with ‘dash’ and the general website.
So, I should be good to go to use IF has my host now (if I want)? Thanks for all your help, guys. Sorry to get so frustrated but it seems like a weird problem?
I guess you said it was blocking ‘html-load.com’ or something? But, that duckduckgo extension didn’t block other ‘free host’ sites I found.
What is going on there?
You’re essentially correct- it’s the dashboard where you can see and manage all of your hosting accounts (you can have up to three).
Not every free hosting company uses that service. And even others who do might not use it in the exact same way. It’s basically a multi-CDN service, which InfinityFree uses as part of their anti-adblock techniques.
