I was wondering if there were any tips on how to speed up the load time of my website? This might just because Infinity Free is free and therefore speeds are slow but when I crawl my website, I’m always told it loads too slow, plus I can see it loads quite slow (6 - 7 seconds). I’m hoping to get it lowed to <5.

I’ve already minified everything and all my images are .webp. I’ve also ensured to remove and deleate any unwanted images, plugins, bloat etc.

Just wanted to see if someone could take a look and give some advice. Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forum! I checked three times already and all three times your website loaded in less than 5 seconds. You might need to touch the cache settings on WP Super Cache if it still loads slow for you or you find pages that load slower (though it’s normal the first times you try to load the pages; after the caching plugin did its work your pages will load faster).

I’ve timed it and for me it loads in 0.94 seconds

First off, thank you for the help its much appreciated.

Oh really, its loading fast? I have to usually wait 7ish seconds the first time a page loads and some friends told me it was slow to load also. That plus when I use website health checkers like Google’s kit it tells me it runs slow (expect for today it seems ot be saying its ok xD). Maybe its just spikes from infinityfree hosting?

Is there anything else I could do to make it faster as crawlers always say its too slow

This website speed test says that your web page was loaded completely in 1.5 seconds, which is pretty acceptable for a WordPress site.

This also includes what looks like Google AdSense. And I can tell you from experience that ads are not great for page load speeds.

The waterfall shows that the slowest part is still the main page request, which takes around a second. That’s not super slow, but also not super fast.

Perhaps there are more optimizations that can be done to improve the performance of WordPress itself? A caching plugin, like @JxstErg1 recommended, should help a lot if you don’t have one already.

Unfortantely, my site is already using a caching plugin. Perhaps I simply can’t push it any further. Also I do not have adsense, they keep rejecting me xD.

Thank you again for the help, seems I was worrying about nothing.
