The allow_url_fopen option is enabled on our hosting. Only the allow_url_include function is disabled, because it’s bad for security and performance, so thankfully it’s very rarely used.
If your website says that the feature is not enabled, then it’s possible that the check in your website is invalid. PHP configuration is notably liberal in how you can configure flags, and your software may not be checking for all potentially correct values.
