Subject: ads.txt Redirect Issue on Custom Domain - myshort.space

Hello InfinityFree Support Team,

I’m encountering a strange issue with how my ads.txt file is being served on my custom domain, myshort.space.

I’ve uploaded the correct ads.txt file, containing my ad network lines, to the root directory (htdocs) of my hosting account. I’ve confirmed that the file is in the correct location.

When I visit the subdomain URL: https://myshort.free.nf/ads.txt, the content of my ads.txt file displays correctly and directly. This confirms that the file exists and is functioning properly on the server.

However, when I try to visit the URL for my custom domain: https://myshort.space/ads.txt, I am automatically redirected to: https://srv.adstxtmanager.com/19390/myshort.space?i=1.

This redirection prevents ad networks from verifying my ads.txt file correctly on my custom domain, which is impacting my ad delivery.

Is there a specific policy or setting within InfinityFree that causes this automatic redirection of the ads.txt file on custom domains? And is it possible for me to disable this redirection, allowing my ads.txt file to be served directly from https://myshort.space/ads.txt?

Thank you for your time and assistance.

Hello,

Please refrain from using AI to write here. It often changes your question, making it very hard for us to understand your actual question.

Also, I highly discourage the use of URL shorteners here. Since you are responsible for all content on your website, a single person creating a short link to malicious or terms-violating content can immediately and permanently suspended your account.

We haven’t setup any redirect like that. But you have.

Specifically, there is a line in your .htaccess file that does this redirect. If you don’t want the redirect, you should remove that code.
