I am trying to add free ssl checker with infinityfreeapp free ssl, and it has been 1 day since I add the the custom name
the current distination always shows: == |(no CNAME found) Not Ready|==
AND tried deleting it again and it’s still show the same error. cuz my website is saying " This site can’t be reached" and I thought my certificate has expired… so I thought deleting the old ones, and create new ssl certificate…
That’s because the drop down domain selector in the CNAME tool appends the domain name to the end of the record. Solution is simple, just remove the domain name from the record before hitting submit.
If your domain name is using our nameservers, the DNS Records page in the client area is changed slightly to make it easier to correlate the instructions from the client area to the control panel.
The client area gives you a “Record Name”, “Domain” and “Destination”. In the CNAME Records menu in the control panel, you’ll see the fields in the Add CNAME Record form have the same labels. That’s not a coincidence. If you make sure that the values in the form match the values in the client area, you will set it up correctly.
Or just use the automatic CNAME setup option. Then you don’t need to do anything else yourself at all.
The reason your website doesn’t work isn’t caused by the lack of SSL certificate, but it is the reason why you’re having trouble getting the CNAME record to show up: the domain name is currently taken down. WHOIS info of dominicmalasa.online says the domain status is serverHold, which typically means the domain is taken down by the registrar or registry. Your domain name provider (which seems to be Go Daddy), can help you with this.
