Add custom subdomain to infinityfree

I have a website ojhabikash.com.np already hosted on other server. Now i want to add tulsi.ojhabikash.com.np to this site. I have added the ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com to cname of my main hosting site. And i am also able to create tulsi.ojhabikash.com.np on infinity free but it shows ERR_Connection_Refused problem when opening the url. I have waited for more than 12 hrs but not working…

A few things to note:

• Hosting a subdomain with us without hosting the main domain is not officially supported. It’s possible right now, but do so at your own risk.
• The domain tulsi.ojhabikash.com.np is currently not assigned to any InfinityFree hosting account, so even if you point your domain to our servers, our servers don’t know what to do with it.
• I have no idea what you did with any CNAME records, but I can tell you that it’s not working. Nameservers should be set as the destination of NS records. It’s not set as a source record and it’s not set as a CNAME record.
• The domain tulsi.ojhabikash.com.np currently points to an IP address at DigitalOcean through the nameservers of NS1.com. So the connection refused error is caused by that DigitalOcean server.

You could try to create NS records for tulsi.ojhabikash.com.np at your DNS host and point them to ns1.epizy.com and ns2.epizy.com and then try to setup an account with the domain.

But it should be noted that while this may work at this time, we don’t formally support hosting subdomains without their own custom domains on our hosting. So it may break at some point.

Finally, DNS propagation can take up to 72 hours, and up to 24 hours in most cases. So it’s perfectly normal that DNS settings don’t work yet after 12 hours.
