My InfinityFree hosting account is active, the domain is attached, and the assigned IP is 185.27.134.99.
Both HTTP and HTTPS connections reach the server, but it closes the connection without returning an HTTP response.
HTTP error: ERR_EMPTY_RESPONSE
Curl error: (52) Empty reply from server
The HTTPS TLS handshake succeeds, and the SSL certificate verifies correctly.
My DNS records point to 185.27.134.99, and my hosting resource usage is within the displayed limits. The same portfolio works correctly on GitHub Pages.
Please investigate the server configuration and domain-to-hosting mapping.
Welcome to the InfinityFree community forum! Good to have you here.
Most people answering here are volunteers. They’re often the fastest source of help. Admin (the only staff member) checks in about once a day for issues on our end.
Volunteers can’t see your account or website. Share what you actually see, like error messages and what happens when you try something. That’s more useful than your theory of what’s wrong.
AI tools often get InfinityFree wrong. If a volunteer’s advice differs from what an AI told you, please try the volunteer’s suggestion first.
Solving an issue is a joint effort. Try the suggestions you get and report back what happened.
Beep boop, I’m a bot! I dug through the forum to get you started. I sometimes get things wrong though, so do with this what you will until a human has a look.
I couldn’t find an article or answer that says what causes an empty reply from our servers, so I can’t tell you what’s wrong or what to change. Your account shows as active and your domain is attached to it. Your DNS and TLS checks all look fine, so nothing in your post points to a mistake on your side.
Other people have reported the same symptom recently, with a connection accepted but no HTTP response, on both port 80 and 443. This topic is one example:
It might be the same thing as yours, but nothing I found confirms that. Re-uploading your files doesn’t obviously explain it, and I can’t say whether it’s related.
I can’t see or fix anything on the server, and neither can volunteers. A person on the InfinityFree staff needs to look at your account and the server it’s on. Staff check the forum, so leave this topic open for them.
Looks to be working fine for me. If the domain is more than 72 hours old, and it’s still not working, please try accessing with a device on a different network to rule out an ISP or IP block.
