Accidentally deleted directory in File Manager – Any chance of server-side snapshot/backup recovery?

While managing directories via File Manager, I accidentally deleted the entire folder containing my custom WordPress files and custom plugins instead of a specific subfolder.

The MySQL database is completely intact, but several months of development code were inside that directory.

Is there any server-level filesystem snapshot, trash queue, or disaster recovery backup from the last 24–48 hours that you could restore on your end?

I would greatly appreciate any help. Thank you!

No backups on free hosting, unfortunately anything deleted cannot be recovered. Most of Wordpress’s data is stored in the database however, so you should be able to re-download it from the various plugin developers.

Hopefully this can be a lesson as to why you should always take your own backups!
