I accidentally clicked “Deactivate Account” on my hosting account.
The account has been stuck on “We’re updating your account…” and the status shows “Processing” for about 1 hour.
I need access to the File Manager to continue editing my website.

Could you please cancel/finish the deactivation and restore access to the account?
Welcome to the forum. This is a community forum, so most of us are not InfinityFree staff. in fact, only Admin (who’s the owner) is.
have you tried refreshing the page? if so does it still say its updating? I’ve had it before where the page says its going to refresh when completed, but gets stuck, but a quick refresh and it works fine
Yeah, I tried and couldn’t get it to work. I left it overnight to see if it would work, and it’s still like this. It still doesn’t work, but thanks for the suggestion :3
Normally, deactivating an account shouldn’t be that big of a deal. It takes a few minutes to deactivate, then you click the reactivate button, and after a few minutes it’s back again.
However, there appears to be an issue with now with account status changes no longer being processed correctly. I’ve informed iFastNet about it, so they can fix it on their end.
I wanted to buy Starter Premium because of the hits. Yesterday I reached the limit and got suspended for 24 hours. Would there be any problem if I buy it while this bug is happening?
It’s unlikely there would be a problem, since IFastNet can port suspended accounts across to premium without any significant delay. But we can’t be 100% certain.
Yeah, I know, I know. I just didn’t understand if there would be any problem with buying Premium while this error is happening. dan3008 had already replied, but I didn’t understand what they meant.
Identified - The issue has been confirmed to be a large backlog of unprocessed changes. The system is catching up, but it will take some time for all changes to be processed. This is expected to take until at least later today.
So reactivating will probably work but might take a bit longer than usual while the server plays catch-up
